Football Recap: Johnson City Comes Up Short

Something's probably wrong if your squad accumulates more yards in penalties than offense, a fact Johnson City just learned the hard way. They were beaten by the Thorndale Bulldogs 47-0 on Thursday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Wyatt Lorenzen threw for 36 yards on five of 12 attempts.

Johnson City dropped their record down to 4-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Thorndale, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
