Softball Game Preview: Crestwood Knights vs. Camden Bulldogs

Crestwood hasn't had much luck against Camden recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Knights will challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Crestwood has given up an average of 14 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Crestwood is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Friday. They lost 16-1 to Lakewood.

Crestwood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zaire Ransom, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Camden didn't have quite enough to beat Dreher on Thursday and fell 9-8. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyssa Faulkenberry was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Haydin Williams, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Crestwood's record is now 2-13. As for Camden, their record now sits at 7-10.

Crestwood suffered a grim 28-1 defeat to Camden in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
