Basketball Game Preview: Maryville Christian Lions vs. Marquette Catholic Explorers

Gray continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dillon Paul, who posted four points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Marquette Catholic can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They snuck past Christ Our Rock Lutheran with a 54-50 win.

Maryville Christian now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Marquette Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

Maryville Christian suffered a grim 52-26 defeat to Marquette Catholic in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Maryville Christian was down 34-7.
