Colorado Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They never let The Academy get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering Colorado Academy have won five contests by more than six goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting The Academy from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Lucy Garnsey led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Colorado Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for The Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
