Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Woodburn's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Woodburn hadn't done well against Silverton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Woodburn Bulldogs walked away with a 62-49 win over the Silverton Foxes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Woodburn is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Silverton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
