Volleyball Recap: Dr. Joaquin Garcia Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Dr. Joaquin Garcia walked away with it. They came out on top against the Fort Lauderdale Flying L by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-21, 25-13, 19-25, 25-17.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia found their leader in sophomore Nick Nogueras, who had six digs and three aces.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-8. As for Fort Lauderdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia will face off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. Fort Lauderdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
