Basketball Recap: Timberland Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Berkeley

Timberland faced Berkeley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves came up short against the Stags, falling 59-39. The game marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Timberland fell to 7-1. As for Berkeley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Timberland and Berkeley will both be playing West Ashley the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Stags will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
