Basketball Game Preview: Riverheads Gladiators vs. Buffalo Gap Bison + How To Watch

The Riverheads Gladiators and the Buffalo Gap Bison will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. Buffalo Gap took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Riverheads, who comes in off a win.

Riverheads barely beat Rockbridge County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gladiators blew past the Wildcats 57-34 on Tuesday. The Gladiators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Buffalo Gap was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 50-44 to Staunton. The Bison have struggled against the Storm recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Riverheads' victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Buffalo Gap, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Riverheads strolled past Buffalo Gap in their previous meeting back in December of 2025 by a score of 45-31. Will the Gladiators repeat their success, or do the Bison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
