Softball Recap: Reed Takes a Loss

Reed lost against Spanish Springs back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Reed Raiders fell just short of the Spanish Springs Cougars by a score of 6-4. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Kehaulani Tambaoan was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Tambaoan is crushing it when it comes to hits: she's got at least three every time she's taken the field this season.

Reed now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Spanish Springs, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reed will challenge Galena at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
