Basketball Game Preview: Herlong Vikings vs. Princeton Eagles

Herlong is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Plumas Charter on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Herlong had to suffer through a 81-39 loss at the hands of Plumas Charter. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.

Meanwhile, Princeton had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 45-37 win over the Volcanoes.

Princeton has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Herlong, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
