Volleyball Recap: Norton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Norton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Medway Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 22-25, 25-23, 25-16.

Addison Diercksen paced Norton's offense, picking up seven kills. Diercksen got some help from Alison Hwang and her 13 assists. Amanda Ingersoll and Catherine Reiss kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Among those leading the charge was Charlotte George, who had 14 digs and five aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (five). Parley Bradosky also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Norton's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Medway, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Norton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Bellingham on the 24th. As for Medway, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Medfield on the 23rd.
