Basketball Recap: Peoria Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Peoria Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 62-36 to the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Irish of the 61-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2017.

Peoria Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Sacred Heart-Griffin, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Urbana the next time they take the court. Sacred Heart-Griffin will host Urbana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Peoria Notre Dame will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
