Baseball Recap: Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Comes Up Short

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton dropped their record down to 5-5 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the MACCRAY Wolverines by a score of 7-5. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Wolverines since on Tuesday.

Trevor Smith and Aiden Sanow stepped up to the plate in a big way. Smith went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI, while Sanow went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Brody Hauger was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

As for MACCRAY, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games.

On MACCRAY's side, their win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Swenson, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Another was Peyton Schlagel, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
