The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Franklin Academy in their matchups with Sheridan Hills Christian: they've now lost six in a row.
Sheridan Hills Christian found their leader in underclassman Micah Smith, who scored 30 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Smith is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was AJ Seay, who scored 15 points along with six assists.
Franklin Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.
