Cascade won the last time they faced South Putnam and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cascade Cadets walked away with a 70-61 victory over the South Putnam Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cadets.

Despite the loss, South Putnam saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isaac Garner went 8 of 12 on his way to 18 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Garner a new career-high in rebounds. Khalil Jefferson was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Cascade's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for South Putnam, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Cascade wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 66-62 victory against Speedway on the 25th. South Putnam has also already played their next game, a 72-22 win against Dugger Union on the 25th.
