Basketball Recap: Durham Charter Comes Up Short

The Durham Charter Lions were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 30-29 to the Commission Leadership Academy Griffins.

Durham Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Commission Leadership Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Commission Leadership Academy will challenge Youngsville Academy Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Durham Charter will be paying especially close attention to the Griffins' matchup: after the Griffins face off against the Firebirds, they'll take on Durham Charter again at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
