Baseball Game Preview: Chatham Central Bears vs. North Moore Mustangs

Chatham Central is 2-8 against North Moore since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bears will welcome the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chatham Central managed to slip by Northwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears came up short against the Chargers on Thursday, falling 8-2.

Chatham Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reid Albright, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, North Moore fell victim to Freedom Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Patriots. The shutout was out of character for the Mustangs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

North Moore has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Chatham Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
