Pequea Valley couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell victim to a rough 15-4 defeat at the hands of the Oley Valley Lynx on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pequea Valley in their matchups with Oley Valley: they've now lost three in a row.

For Oley Valley's part, Cheyenne Walsh was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Walsh was even better at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI.
