Baseball Game Preview: North Knox Warriors vs. Linton-Stockton Miners

North Knox hasn't had much luck against Linton-Stockton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Miners at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

North Knox fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Washington on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hatchets by a score of 5-4. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carter Becher was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and one run. Kason Oxby also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Linton-Stockton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to Shakamak.

North Knox's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Linton-Stockton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
