Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Steele walked away with it. They blew past the Weslaco Panthers 58-34 on Friday. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Steele is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points over those games. As for Weslaco, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-9.

Looking ahead, Steele will face off against Round Rock on Monday. Round Rock will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Steele surely won't give up without a fight. Weslaco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
