Baseball Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Milton can now relate to. They lost 15-0 to the Niceville Eagles on Wednesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Milton has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Niceville, they pushed their record up to 23-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

While Milton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
