Basketball Recap: Miya Tatum Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Lowndes Academy

Macon-East Montgomery Academy lost to Lowndes Academy back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights secured a 39-34 W over the Lowndes Academy Rebels. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Miya Tatum out in front who posted six points along with seven steals and five assists. Tatum has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Jamiyah Powell was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds.
