Basketball Recap: Universal Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Universal Academy came into Monday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Pepin Academy by a score of 52-44 on Monday. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Pepin Academy, too.

Universal Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Pepin Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Universal Academy Falcons take on the Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pepin Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
