While Southwest didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Everman Bulldogs on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Raiders have won by exactly four runs.

The win made it two in a row for Southwest and bumps their season record up to 6-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Everman, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Southwest and Everman will both be playing Millsap the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will head out to face them at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
