Volleyball Game Preview: Ethan Rustlers vs. Freeman Flyers

The Ethan Rustlers will face off against the Freeman Flyers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Tuesday, Ethan didn't have quite enough to beat Bridgewater/Emery and fell 3-2. The Rustlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ethan took Bridgewater/Emery into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-15, 18-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Freeman came up short against Northwestern Area on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Flyers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Freeman's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Ethan, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Ethan was able to grind out a solid victory over Freeman in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 2-0. Do the Rustlers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Flyers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
