Softball Recap: Clinton Has No Trouble Against Columbia

Clinton got themselves on the board against Columbia on Tuesday, but Columbia never followed suit. They blew past the Capitals 18-0.

Clinton's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-8-1. As for Columbia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will challenge Laurens at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Columbia, they will face off against the Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
