Williams Field had won three straight games and Courshawn Hill did his part to make it four on Friday. The Black Hawks enjoyed a cozy 49-35 victory over the Saguaro Sabercats for which the team can thank Hill, who rushed for 277 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Another player making a difference was Dominick Barjona, who threw for 209 yards and one TD on only 19 passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Williams Field's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

When it comes to explaining why Saguaro lost, don't look at Marcel Jones. Despite the final result, he rushed for 125 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries, and also threw for 195 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Williams Field's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Saguaro, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Williams Field is taking a road trip to square off against Higley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Saguaro, they have already played their next matchup, a 41-8 defeat against Brophy College Prep on the 30th.
