Volleyball Recap: Geneva Finds Playoff Glory Versus First Baptist Christian Academy + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Geneva had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-8, 23-25, 25-9.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Geneva to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kensey Chambley, who had 15 digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Muto, who had seven digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Geneva was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Geneva is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for First Baptist Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.

Looking ahead, Geneva will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Edward's at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. First Baptist Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
