Basketball Recap: Navarro Piles Up the Points Against Rogers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thorndale, Navarro was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 76-42 victory over the Rogers Eagles. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 58-42 loss the last time these two teams met.

Navarro has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Rogers, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Coincidentally, Navarro and Rogers will both be playing Bruceville-Eddy the next time they take the court. Rogers will head out to face Bruceville-Eddy at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while Navarro will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
