Basketball Recap: Iowa Valley Drops Highest Score of Season Against English Valleys

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Iowa Valley). They were the clear victor by a 77-53 margin over the English Valleys Bears on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-52 back in December of 2024.

Iowa Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for English Valleys, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Iowa Valley will head out to challenge Keota at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keota knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Iowa Valley likes a good challenge. As for English Valleys, they are taking a road trip to square off against Belle Plaine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. English Valleys is facing Belle Plaine at the right time seeing as Belle Plaine is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
