Volleyball Recap: St. Pius X Catholic Triumphs

St. Pius X Catholic hadn't done well against Varsity Opponent recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Golden Lions came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Golden Lions: when they faced off against Varsity Opponent on Tuesday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-22, 25-16.

St. Pius X Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

After both having extra time off, St. Pius X Catholic and Trinity Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Golden Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
