Soccer Game Preview: Nevada vs. Perry

Nevada is a perfect 4-0 against Perry since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cubs are taking a road trip to take on the Bluejays at 7:00 p.m.

Nevada is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Dike-New Hartford on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perry). They never let West Marshall get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Tuesday. With that win, Perry brought their scoring average up to 2.7 goals per game.

They hit West Marshall with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Addison Perks (3), Mariana Cerna (2), Kamila Arceo, and Yaneli Torres Gonzalez.

Perry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-2-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. With that draw, Nevada's record moves to 3-1-1.

Nevada got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Perry by a conclusive 6-1 score. Will the Cubs repeat their success, or do the Bluejays have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
