Soccer Recap: Grove Christian School Takes a Loss

Grove Christian School scored the most goals they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 7-4 to the Williamsburg Christian Academy Eagles. The game was a close 3-2 at the break, but unfortunately for Grove Christian School it sure didn't stay that way.

They hit Williamsburg Christian Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carter Elban (2), Hunter Patterson, and Ryan Fogarty.

Grove Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Williamsburg Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Coming up, Grove Christian School will head out to challenge The Carmel School at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Williamsburg Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-2 loss against Hampton Christian Academy on the 15th.
