Softball Recap: Justin Garza Wins Going Away Against Golden Valley

Justin Garza posted their biggest victory since April 16, 2024 on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Golden Valley Cougars with a sharp 9-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Guardians.

Justin Garza got a massive performance out of Riley Nason, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave Nason a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Rivera, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3.

Justin Garza's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Golden Valley, they now have a losing record of 0-1-1.
