Baseball Recap: Red Bluff Comes Up Short

Red Bluff managed to slip by Chico the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Spartans lost 19-0 to the Panthers on Friday.

Red Bluff has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Chico, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Bluff will take on Foothill at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Chico, they will be playing at home against Shasta at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
