Volleyball Recap: Evergreen Valley Comes Up Short

Evergreen Valley lost against Piedmont Hills back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Evergreen Valley took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-15, 24-26, 22-25, 25-19, 15-13.

Evergreen Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Piedmont Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Evergreen Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Palo Alto on the 12th. As for Piedmont Hills, they are taking a road trip to face off against Del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
