Triston Lehmkuhl leads a balanced attack to beat Georgetown-Ridge Farm

Recap: Chrisman Cardinals vs. Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes

Even though the Chrisman Cardinals have not done well against the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Chrisman sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-61 win over the Buffaloes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Chrisman has posted against the Buffaloes since February 15, 2019.

Chrisman got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Triston Lehmkuhl out in front who scored 22 points along with four steals. Connor Rhoads was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

The victory makes it two in a row for Chrisman and bumps their season record up to 8-12. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

Chrisman won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. Paris has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, they will head out on the road to face off against the Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Illinois (Schlarman is ranked 702nd, while the Buffaloes are ranked 706th).
