Applewood Christian waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 35-16 win over the El Dorado Christian Buffalos. For Applewood Christian, this counts as revenge for the 45-33 victory El Dorado Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

El Dorado Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of McKenzie Cole, who posted five points and nine boards, and Ashlynn Judd, who had two points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.

Applewood Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.8 points per game. As for El Dorado Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
