Basketball Game Preview: Green Level Gators vs. Green Hope Falcons + How To Watch

The Green Level Gators and the Green Hope Falcons will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Tuesday, Green Level came up short against Willow Spring and fell 64-54. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 389th, while the Storm are ranked 71st).

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Andrew Schall and Dillon Robinson. Robinson had a solid game and posted nine points and three steals. Meanwhile, Schall was balling out in the loss, shooting 43% from the field on his way to 23 points and four steals.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Green Hope and Jordan have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. Green Hope received a blow as they fell 81-64 to Jordan. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), Green Hope still had to take the loss.

Green Level will have to contain Brayden Connelly as he made an impact in Green Hope's last game. He went 7-for-9 en route to 20 points. Jaden Ebenuwah was another key player, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 13 points and six rebounds.

Green Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Green Level, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything came up roses for Green Level against Green Hope when the teams last played back in February, as the team secured an 82-49 victory. In that contest, the Gators amassed a halftime lead of 48-24, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
