Baseball Recap: West Columbus Vikings vs. Hobbton Wildcats

West Columbus had lost five straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped down to 7-13 to make it six. They lost 12-1 to the Hobbton Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 9-1 defeat on April 7th.

As for Hobbton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by eight runs or more this season.
