Ramapo picks up 15th straight win at home

Recap: Ramapo Raiders vs. Bergenfield Bears

The Ramapo Raiders waltzed into their matchup Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They really took it to Bergenfield for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-19 win at home. The result was nothing new for Ramapo, who have now won three matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.

Among those leading the charge was Ryan Goldman, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Chris Cervino, who scored eight points.

Ramapo's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points per game. As for Bergenfield, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.

Ramapo and Newark Tech will round out the year against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Bergenfield will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Fort Lee at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Lee and Bergenfield are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
