Covington Academy skates past CrossPointe Christian Academy with ease

The Covington Academy Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat CrossPointe Christian Academy 87-43 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Covington Academy has managed all season.
Gino Brown was on fire: he scored 25 points along with seven assists. Austin Lowery was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Covington Academy's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for CrossPointe Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covington Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Providence Classical Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
