The Tuslaw Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Perry Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Tuslaw is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

Tuslaw couldn't beat Triway on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the seventh inning. The Mustangs fell just short of the Titans by a score of 10-8. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shaylyn Fox was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Dani Crescenze was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Perry wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Tuslaw's record is now 13-8. As for Perry, their record now sits at 7-14-1.
