Softball Recap: James Logan's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Six

With a playoff win on the line, James Logan rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Windsor Jaguars, sneaking past 8-7. The win was nothing new for the Colts as they're now sitting on six straight.

The team relied heavily on Nevaeh Hall-Flores, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Ava Medellin, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: James Logan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

James Logan pushed their record up to 19-6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Windsor, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-7.

Coming up, James Logan will head out to challenge Carondelet at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
