Cedar Bluff was handed a heart-breaking two-run  defeat in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Jacksonville Christian Academy  on Thursday. Cedar Bluff was the clear victor by  an  11-5 margin over Jacksonville Christian Academy. Considering the Tigers have won 14 contests by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Hunter Mobbs looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   four  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Hunter Stallings was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was  Dylan McDaniel, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
 Cedar Bluff was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .448. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jacksonville Christian Academy only posted a  batting average of  .261.
Cedar Bluff's record now sits at 18-8. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Cedar Bluff Tigers  face off against  Spring Garden Panthers at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they will take on Saks at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Jacksonville Christian Academy is facing Saks at the right time seeing as Saks is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak.
