Clear Spring had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the James Buchanan Rockets on Tuesday. The Blazers haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Clear Spring had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-23, 27-25, 25-18.

James Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1.
