Basketball Recap: Westbrook Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Titus Jones and Brady Carden

Westbrook Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 53-44 to the Gaston Bulldogs. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 62-50.

Despite the loss, Westbrook Christian had strong showings from Brady Carden, who posted 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals, and Titus Jones, who earned 11 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Carden a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Wil Chadwick, who had six points.

Westbrook Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Gaston, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-13 record this season.
