Basketball Recap: Furlow Charter School Comes Up Short

Furlow Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 41st straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Marion County Eagles and fell 79-31. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-29 back in January.

Despite the loss, Furlow Charter School still got an impressive performance from Riley Thompkins, who went 6 of 10 en route to 15 points and three steals. Those 15 points gave Thompkins a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rashad Dowdell, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.

Furlow Charter School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Marion County, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-13.

As of now, neither Furlow Charter School nor Marion County have any future games scheduled.
