Southridge's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Pike Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Southridge strolled past Pike Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 39-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
