Volleyball Recap: Kaleigh Marquart Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Bradford

Keystone Heights won the last time they faced Bradford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians came out on top against the Tornadoes by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Keystone Heights walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 17-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Keystone Heights' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaleigh Marquart led the charge by getting five aces and three digs. Those three digs gave Marquart a new career-high. Kadence Massey was another key player, getting eight kills, eight digs, and seven aces.

Keystone Heights' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bradford, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Keystone Heights will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Newberry at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bradford, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Baker County at 6:30 p.m.
